Nathan Walker has made his dream become reality. He has signed on to play for the Terriers who recently has been a mainstay in the top 10 of FCS schools. Nathan Walker finished his high school career by playing in the festive Shrine Bowl.
Nathan was selected as defensive player of the Year in Class A. He was class A region 5 player of the year. Nathan will be playing running back for the terriers and will wear number 12 his high school jersey.
The Cross community, athletic department, faculty and staff salutes Nathan as he embarks on this new journey. We asked Nate to share what it means for him to be moving on to college to play football. “It means a lot for my family. I would be the first to receive a scholarship and play football in my family. I want to make sure that I stick it out at Wofford as it would mean a lot for Cross and the players coming up next.”
