The Lady and Men’s basketball team enter the season with new coaches as well as new expectations. The Trojans will face Lake Marion in Santee, SC on tonight. Game time starts at 6:30pm. Cross High School names Mr. Quentin “Reese” Felder as their new Girl’s Basketball Head Coach. Felder is a native of Orangeburg, SC and attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete.   Jayla Ravenell entered Cross High/Middle School as a 7th grader and began her basketball career as a starter for the Lady Trojans. She has started every year since that time. Jayla reached the 1,000 point mark during her Junior season. She is the second all-time leading scorer for Cross High. Entering her senior year,

Up 24-21 at the half the Cross Trojans came out strong and pushed the lead to 10. Green Sea Floyd rallied to take a one point lead with 33 seconds left in the 4th. Cross twice had chances to tie the game or take the lead, but missed both one and one free throw opportunities.

 The Lady Trojans will be Hosting Green Sea Floyd’s on Monday. Game time is 6:00pm. We are asking all Trojans fans to again wear white. We look forward to a pack house on Monday night.
